BILL OF RIGHTS
The following rights are afforded to every citizen within NewGen RP. These principles guide fair treatment, due process, and personal freedoms for all players.
Freedom of belief and expression.
Citizens shall have the right to freely express their religion, belief, or faith; freedom of speech and the press; and to peaceably protest authorities regarding grievances.
Right to lawful defense.
It is the right of every citizen to possess and suitably utilise legal firearms in aid of the lawful defense of their life.
Protection from unlawful searches.
Citizens have the right to be awarded a full and legal warrant for any searches and seizures made upon their property.
Right to legal representation.
No person shall be tried or sentenced while in custody without the right to legal representation being offered if it is available.
No self-incrimination.
Every citizen has the right to not self-incriminate when presented before a court of law.
Due process.
No citizen should be denied access to their property or freedoms without due process of the law being applied.
Protection from excessive punishment.
Citizens have the right to be protected from excessive fines and from cruel or unusual punishment.
